Propelling women in sculpture to the forefront of cultural dialogue

For the Arts Council Collection exhibition ‘Breaking the Mould: Sculpture by Women since 1945’, I crafted a bold, inclusive identity that challenged male-dominated narratives in British sculpture.

Using stacked typography and bold visual breaks, I symbolised the deconstruction and reassembly of women’s stories within the arts. This approach seamlessly integrated a digital experience on iPads within the gallery, allowing visitors to delve deeper into the artists and their work, adding a reflective, interactive layer that enhanced engagement.

The identity was well-received, attracting new audiences and elevating the cultural conversation around women in sculpture.
