For Block Universe, London’s premier performance art festival, I crafted a digital platform that reflects the festival’s avant-garde spirit and dedication to contemporary performance. Inspired by the fluid and experimental nature of performance art, I designed an interface that is both visually compelling and user-friendly. The platform is built with a clean, modern layout that emphasises accessibility and clarity, ensuring users can effortlessly navigate through events, programs, and artist profiles.
To reinforce Block Universe’s brand identity, I used bold typography and vibrant accent colours that capture the festival’s dynamic energy. The homepage showcases upcoming events with engaging visuals that invite users to explore the essence of each performance, while key sections like the Festival Programme, Events, and Press highlight the breadth of Block Universe’s offerings and its role as a commissioning body. This immersive, user-friendly design positions Block Universe as an accessible entry point for new audiences to experience contemporary performance art.
Through this digital platform, I helped elevate Block Universe’s online presence, making it an essential destination for art enthusiasts, curators, and supporters of performance art. The result is a cohesive digital identity that not only showcases the festival’s offerings but also reinforces its standing as a leader in the international performance art scene.
