For the brand identity of Three Forms, an art gallery specialising in 20th-century modern and contemporary art, I crafted a visual language that draws from the gallery's focus on minimalism and flexibility. Inspired by Barbara Hepworth's sculpture "Three Forms," the design centres around a grid-based system with three modular shapes, creating a dynamic yet structured layout. This grid provides ample white space, allowing artwork and text to coexist harmoniously.

The colour palette, primarily monochrome with subtle off-white accents, evokes the understated elegance of modernist art, aligning with the gallery’s curatorial style. The use of Sharp Grotesk and Manage typefaces reinforces this aesthetic, balancing modern sophistication with readability. These typographic choices reflect the gallery's adaptability, creating a timeless yet contemporary feel across all touchpoints.

From the posters and tote bags to the gallery signage and exhibition invitations, each element embodies a unified identity. The restrained design and thoughtful composition give each artwork room to shine, ensuring the gallery’s branding supports, rather than overshadows, the pieces on display. This approach results in an adaptable identity system that honours the gallery's mission to showcase and celebrate modern art in a refined, flexible framework.
